With the use of a variety of evidence-based techniques, I am skilled in helping clients reconnect to existing strengths and cultivating resources that support their progress. I strive to be compassionate and responsive to each clients’ unique needs, and I value the opportunity to help clients increase self-awareness, enhance their insight, and develop coping skills. In addition, I prioritize fostering a safe and warm space for clients to share their thought processes, and I often utilize co-exploration and self-regulation techniques to guide clients soundly through thought processes that may be overwhelming and confusing.
Previously, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults. More specifically, I have used family systems theories to work intensely with families who experienced high-risk mental health crises within the family system, such as hospitalization for self-injurious behaviors and suicide, eating disorders, intellectual disabilities, substance use, etc.
In addition to my passion for supporting athletes, my experience includes anxiety, oppression, trauma, grief, social skills, developmental concerns, ADHD, autism, Bipolar disorder, and depression. I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families.
