I am particularly sensitive to the needs of adults who have experienced trauma and stigmatization. I believe that individuals have the power to make the changes necessary to better themselves, and the role of a therapist is to assist them in better understanding, coping with, and processing emotions and memories tied to those traumatic experiences.
I am trained in both EMDR (eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing) and perinatal/postpartum mental health. With a trauma-focused lens, I aim to provide and build a safe space to process any difficult experiences that you feel may be hindering you.
