About
Alexis is a clinical social worker that specializes in trauma-based treatment. She views psychotherapy as an opportunity for people to begin healing holistically. Alexis believes in the power of change and supports her clients in cultivating more balance in their daily lives. She enjoys working collaboratively alongside clients to find relief from various life stressors.
Although Alexis' training is primarily based in working with survivors of power-based violence (i.e. sexual assault, intimate partner violence, childhood sexual abuse), she also has had years of experience working with young-adults that are struggling with anxiety, depression, life-transitions, grief, and other stressors.
Alexis knows that starting treatment can be a daunting process and she strives to make sure her clients feel comfortable during the process while gently challenging them along the way.
