Hi! I'm Alexina, I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I offer individual and couples therapy to adult clients in-person in San Diego and virtually throughout California. I am passionate about working collaboratively my clients to resolve trauma in all its forms, including the conditions that can often develop as a result of experiencing trauma. I work with individuals and couples using an integrative approach and pulling from trauma-informed and evidence-based practices in order to create a tailored treatment setting that is as unique as each client and the dynamics they bring with them into the therapy session.
My approach focuses on breaking down barriers to connection and resolving patterns that continue to negatively impact aspects of a person and their life as a whole. I aim to begin by meeting you wherever you are in your experience and collaborate with you throughout the process to best meet your specific needs.
My goal is to work alongside you to build a shared understanding of the significant factors that have contributed to shaping who you are, your lived experience, and the way you relate to the world in order to find a way through whatever it is that brings you to therapy.
