Many of the challenges we face come from traumatic events and other stressors. The environment where we live plays a significant role on many of the current problems we are encountering today. People raised in unsupportive environments face numerous difficulties because of not learning the necessary coping skills to manage different life stressors. Other challenges linked to living in an unhealth environment include attachment, trust, self-love, confidence, and safety issues. Living in an unsafe environment impact the way our brain manages daily stressors at school, work, and home.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I am trained in several specialties to better support my clients impacted by trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and work stressors. I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Gottman Theory.
