Hello! My name is Alexandria Wick and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have my undergraduate degree in psychology from Heidelberg University and I have my masters from The University of Akron. I have experience in a variety of populations and issues. My specialty areas include family counseling, couples counseling, LGBTQIA+, anxiety, depression, and adolescents.

My approach to therapy is systemic which involves looking at not just the individual but also how their relationships, community, and institutions affect them and their issues. I also enjoy working from a cognitive behavioral view in which focuses on changing negative thought and behavior patterns.

I enjoy helping clients improve their self esteem, pro social skills and seeing my clients grow outside of their comfort zones. I approach my clients with nonjudgement and focusing in on their strengths to aid them through life’s challenges and be confident with themselves.
