—Accepting new clients— Counseling provides an opportunity to connect more deeply to the self through exploring emotions, relationships, and experiences. You may be struggling with processing past trauma, grief, or loss - or maybe you're seeking support in navigating a continued experience of depression or anxiety. Regardless of what brings you in, my goal is to support you in your journey of healing and growth through the power of accompaniment. I aim to create a safe and supportive environment that honors you and ensures the work we're doing goes at your pace. Your experience is important.
I work from a holistic perspective using somatic and emotion-focused interventions as well as a foundation of Polyvagal and Attachment Theories. This approach allows you to deepen your understanding of your experience and allow trapped emotions to move through you, resulting in an increased sense of capacity and relief from stress, discomfort, and overwhelm.
I know asking for help can be scary - I offer a warm and compassionate therapeutic relationship to support you in feeling comfortable engaging in vulnerability and self-exploration. I am committed to continued self-work in an effort to show up fully for my clients. My space is truly welcoming to all. I look forward to working with you.
