I am a Licensed Professional Counselor experienced working with adults, children, and families in various settings. I have worked with individuals experiencing trauma, drug and alcohol use, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, grief, relationship difficulties, stress, anger management, and other concerns. I believe in working through a multi-dimensional, holistic or whole-person, and individualized approach that is tailored for you.
Using a client-centered approach, I work on developing an authentic and trusting relationship, drawing from MI techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and solution focused Therapy, as well as focusing on mindfulness to create a holistic approach to counseling. As a certified yoga teacher, I also focus on the mind body connection to healing.
I obtained my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas (77618). I believe in joining alongside the client and empowering them to find it within themselves to find the strengths that will allow them to make the changes they are looking for!
