Hello, I'm Alexandria Blaurock, Licensed Professional Counselor. I help individuals deal with the pressures of life, find emotional healing, and learn to become their most authentic and confident selves. I am passionate about helping individuals shed the expectations of who they “should be” and understand the importance of vulnerability and emotional well-being. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, and sports performance issues.
My professional experience includes working with a diverse population of clientele, from children, teens, college students, and athletes. I am also experience in providing culturally competent, and trauma focused care, especially for women of color who are dealing with racial trauma, relationship issues, and life stressors.
My professional training began as an undergraduate at Northwest Missouri State University, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Sport Psychology. From there, I earned my graduate degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, counseling and guidance with an emphasis in Mental Health. I have advance training in EMDR, CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness.
