My name is Alexandrea Orozco, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. My approach to therapy is person-focused, meaning I prioritize the unique needs and experiences of each client, ensuring that therapy is tailored to their specific situation. I focus on helping clients navigate and overcome challenges related to trauma, relationship concerns, communication issues, anger, setting boundaries, and managing stress. My goal is to create a supportive environment where clients can explore their concerns, develop effective coping strategies, and work toward personal growth and healing.
I strive to create an environment that is warm, supportive, and collaborative. My approach is generally non-directive, allowing clients to guide the conversation and explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. I believe that clients are the experts of their own experiences, and my role is to provide the tools and guidance they need.
Therapy is a dynamic process, so we regularly review progress and adjust goals as needed. If a client’s circumstances or priorities change, we revisit and revise the goals to ensure they remain relevant and attainable. My goal-setting approach is always flexible, allowing clients to move at their own pace while providing the structure and support they need.
