Walking down the path of self-discovery can have many obstacles– from doubting yourself, to past trauma, to feeling misunderstood by those around you. These circumstances can leave you with a handful of feelings. Guilt, exhaustion, doubt, anxiety, and isolation– floating in a space where life may feel dull, empty, or even like someone else’s. Feelings such as these can show themselves as anxious thoughts, loss of excitement, and living for those around you and not yourself. Believing that you’re the expert of your own story is where finding yourself and living the life you deserve begins.
Something I’ve always appreciated is how unique people can be– how every single person brings something that is only their own to the table. As I began my studies in undergrad I always wanted to understand what makes a person themselves.
Together, we would walk through the past and present to find routines that do and don’t work for you. We’ll talk through habits and behaviors, the good and the bad, and connect them to your symptoms, feelings, and motivations. Through understanding, we’ll build your confidence in your ability to live your life the way you want to through healthy behavior.
