I have over 30 years of experience with guiding and coaching people of all ages through life transitions and through trauma recovery. My goal is for you to feel emotionally safe and supported by our work together in helping you to be fully present in your life. I have a proven record of helping many people: to feel less pain, be less overwhelmed, to identify personal goals, and to move towards achieving these goals through our therapeutic relationship. I combine clinical skills with a practical approach and always with a genuine and non-judgmental respect for your personal unique choices and experiences.
My specialties are LGBTQ+ identities, couples counseling, reproductive challenges, parenting, trauma, eating disorders, anxiety and depression, anger management, grief, coping with illness.If you are feeling stuck, panicked, or overwhelmed with life including with Covid-19, I will help you learn new coping skills and build on your own strengths.
I believe that you will feel comfortable with my respectful, compassionate, intuitive, and practical approach to growth and resilience. Virtual and phone sessions are welcomed. Sliding scale fees available for video therapy or phone sessions I also offer Geriatric Consultations and Assessments.
