Hi there! I'm Alexandra Rusu. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (125886) in California. I specialize in working with couples and individuals. My approach to therapy has always been meeting clients where they are. I pride myself on my non-judgmental approach and am here to listen to you deeply with compassion and patience. I often find myself working with people experiencing anxiety or depression due to various life circumstances. As well as couples looking for better relationships.
Many clients over the years have told me they appreciate my non-judgmental and compassionate approach to therapy. I strive to create a safe and genuine environment for therapy where you will feel cared for. At the same time, I will also challenge you when needed but always with kindness and your growth in mind.
I blend concepts and practices from many different modalities depending on what each person needs. I will always adjust my approach to the unique client in front of me. I most often use depth psychotherapy, mindfulness practices, trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, and somatic awareness.
