At this time in my career I enjoy working with adolescents, adults and mature adults with varying presenting issues. These include but are not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression and parenting challenges. I engage in both LGBTQIA+ affirmative and culturally attuned practices. I utilize multiple evidenced-based practices, including EMDR, IFS, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and parent management training, as well as body-based work and mindfulness strategies. Most importantly, I focus on establishing a safe, trusting and strong therapeutic relationship, to foster growth, positive change and true healing.
In our work, I will help you to better understand how difficult life experiences have shaped your understanding of yourself and the world, and how these viewpoints may be negatively impacting your emotional and behavioral responses today. We will work on disputing existing narratives and healing your younger self with care and compassion together.
I truly believe that change and healing is possible through this work, as I have seen both in myself and many of my clients. If you are ready to feel better, I am here to help guide you.
