Our collective mental health presents a major challenge in our society. One in three people meet the diagnostic criteria for anxiety or depression. There’s a lot of us out there! You’re here because you want relief from this epidemic, and that is an incredibly brave first step! If you're willing to work hard, I am willing to make every effort to help you achieve your goals and together we can change your life. Whether you’re going through a life transition, a traumatic event or you have battled mental health struggles all your life, you will feel empowered as we work together to make the improvements which you’re seeking today.
I help couples, families and individuals improve communication and identify how your past hinders you. We first work on coping skills and building a supportive routine. We, then, work with the “chatter” in your brain through IFS and clear past hurts with EMDR to release you from your pain. We will work on the past, present and the future simultaneously.
Fava, my therapy dog (& let's be honest, the real therapist) and I am excited to learn more about you and your unique journey! I promise to make therapy enjoyable and, dare I say, fun if you promise to work hard! I currently have in-person and virtual openings.
