Life can be beautiful and it can also be extremely challenging. During hard times, it can really make a difference to have a safe and supportive space. I'm honored to offer an inclusive space where you can be yourself and process the difficult things in life. Sometimes, experiences from our past have more power over our present than we would like them to. Other times, we might not be aware of how our past is influencing us in our daily life, but we may struggle with self-limiting or critical beliefs, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, difficulty regulating emotions, and relationship problems.
I am certified in EMDR, an evidence-based modality that treats trauma, PTSD and can address many of these symptoms. In addition to EMDR, I incorporate mindfulness, cognitive strategies, and traditional talk therapy depending on a client's specific needs. I'm trained in and offer sessions with SPACE- Supportive parenting for anxious childhood emotions.
