Hello! My name is Alexandra Lobanov-Rostovsky (Alex) and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in San Diego, CA practicing statewide via telehealth. With nearly a decade of experience in a private practice setting, I've worked with children through adults in individual and family settings to overcome anxiety, depression, OCD, school challenges, major life transitions, family discord, and more.
Historically, my client focus has been working with teens, young adults, and women in coping with anxiety, depression, life stressors and transitions, and challenging family relationships. I also have training in Emotion Focused Therapy which focuses on gaining a better understanding and awareness of your emotions.
As a therapist, the most important part of the first session to me is getting to know one another and allowing you to share your concerns, questions, and goals for counseling in a safe environment.
