I offer trauma-informed support for folks navigating struggles such as anxiety, depression, complex trauma, sexual assault, self-esteem struggles, OCD, LGTBQIA+ related stressors, family dynamics, sexual and relational health, grief, and life transitions. In an ever changing world and often troubling political landscape, it's natural to struggle with identity. I seek to provide a safe haven for asking larger life questions and coping with societal struggles. Therapeutic growth begins with finding a space where you feel safe and valued in vulnerability. It is my privilege to collaboratively create that space with you.
Often, we worry that our problems aren't "bad enough" or think we should be able to resolve things ourselves. But what if we don't have to? In a society that rewards toughing it out, I work with you to embrace or overcome your challenges and learn to love the complicated parts of you; making room for enhanced connection and transformation.
Counseling experience in multiple higher education institutions as well as interpersonal violence and restorative justice has provided a specific lens for women and trans or non-binary folks who tend to struggle with perfectionism. Social justice, nonviolence, and honoring each individual's experience is incorporated deeply into my work.
