I am a licensed psychologist specializing in the treatment of women and teenage girls, with a particular interest in perinatal mental health. My goal is to provide a safe, trusting, and caring environment for each of my clients. I am compassionate and encouraging and know that sometimes people need to be challenged in order to take the risks that facilitate change. I have experience working with a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, mood disorders, disordered eating, trauma, relational conflict, and general life adjustment difficulties.
I work collaboratively with my clients using an approach that focuses on growth and empowerment by reinforcing strengths, building confidence, and developing skills. Treatment incorporates a variety of techniques, including CBT, DBT, stress management, hypnosis, and mindfulness. I also offer clinical supervision and consultation to mental health providers.
My practice is located in Coolidge Corner and is easily accessible by public transportation or car (parking is readily available). Appointments available Tuesdays - Fridays.
