My approach to counseling is to establish a warm, empathetic, and compassionate environment for clients to feel safe in dealing with their issues. I help clients look at themselves in a holistic way; to include self-awareness, physical well-being, spiritual beliefs, communication, and relationships with others. I provide assistance to young adults age 18 and adults whose issues may include stress, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship, and other life issues. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness.
I have experience with infertility, chronic illness, & loved ones with aging parents. These experiences have helped me better understand the feelings, frustrations, & stressors that you may feel. I understand the physical and emotional stress with infertility as well as supporting caretakers of loved ones who struggle with chronic illness and aging.
