I work with individuals from a creative and holistic therapeutic lens. I aspire to develop a connection with my clients by way of curiosity and compassion in order to build trust and enhance clients' empowered sense of self. I specialize in treating trauma, which often is not limited to a single catastrophic event, but can also be a number of smaller, less pronounced events.
Any level of trauma has the possibility of impacting the way we perceive the world or maintain relationships in adulthood. With therapy, this can be worked through by means of identifying a specific impactful event or series of events and working through the feelings and somatic experiences associated with the trauma.
I also specialize in working with children, teens, and families. Every family goes through challenges as children reach different developmental stages. I work from an attachment based framework to help identify causes of distress and increase awareness into disruptive patterns or problematic behaviors.
