Hi! I'm Ally and I am so excited to get to know you, hear your story, and explore whatever it is that you have been going through. My goal is to help you regain a sense of control, balance, purpose and fulfillment in your life. When you come to our sessions, you are the most important person in the room. As we get to know one another, I look forward to learning your life story and what makes you the person you are today. Together we will explore how this story may be working for you or against you. Together we can gain insights, examine your thoughts and feelings, and rewrite your story moving forward.
My clients have told me I am understanding, respectful, empathetic, non judgmental and also just an authentic person. Show up as you are and I will do the same. There is no right or wrong way to show up for therapy. My therapy style is comfortable, where we can both be our authentic selves, which means I may crack a joke or show you one of my many plants :)
Outside of the therapy room (and sometimes in it, too) I surround myself with plants and animals. I am innately comfortable in nature and have a nurturing side to me as well. As a true pacific northwest human, I love the winter. Snowboarding is one of my favorite pastimes along with spending time with my friends and family. I hope I get to meet you soon!
