I specialize in treating PTSD ranging from single event trauma to repeated physical abuse, torture, and everything in-between, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, depression. Clients who benefit most from therapy sessions with me are often experiencing depression, social isolation, restlessness, and sometimes describe "wanting to feel normal again," "feeling crazy" or are so anxious that they feel paralyzed and can't be present when they are doing an enjoyable activity or need to focus on something important but struggle from worry.
My approach to therapy is indeed clinical, but I am not the stuffy therapist as seen on TV. I prefer to speak to you like a real person in real life. My favorite client comments are "I didn't know therapy could be like this" and "I have never felt like I could be this honest." My approach is DBT-based, and I also incorporate psychodynamic and EMDR styles
