I have ample experience in aiding those who are overcoming both new and long term trauma that has begun to have various affects on a persons life. In my time as a clinician, I have adopted a mentality of "one step at a time", taking bite size pieces out of overall symptoms to help bring some relief while bigger issues are addressed. If you're on the fence about therapy and concerned you "won't know what to talk about", we could be a good match! I'm very skilled at helping people open up and guiding a productive and satisfying session to help those who aren't sure what they want out of therapy, they just know they want some help.

I work with post-traumatic stress and have experience working with both active duty and veterans of the armed forces as they transition out of the military and deal with stressors of their jobs. I also specialize in women's issues including struggles with infertility, antemortem and post-partum anxiety and depression and domestic violence issues.

Asking for help can be hard but asking is half the battle! No one deserves to live surrounded by their hard emotions. Let me help you find some relief in what you have been experiencing and improve your overall quality of life. As the wife of a Veteran I have a unique point of view to help those in the Armed Forces along with their families.

I often used cognitive behavioral therapy in my sessions to help clients unlearn negative thought patterns, along side solution-focused therapy to help "chip away" at symptoms while addressing the main stressor. I've found tackling smaller symptoms first (such as trouble sleeping or irritability) makes it easier to address the underlying issues that brought you to therapy.
