Hello! My name is Alexa Romero (she/her), and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. As a therapist, my goal for each session is to listen and show up for my clients on where they are in their own lives.

I enjoy working with those who identify in the LGBTQIA+ community, those who are adolescents, teenagers, young adults, and adults. I work with those who struggle with anxiety and depression, experiencing life-transitions, experiencing low-self esteem, and student-athletes working on their identity.

I love to create a safe space in therapy through rapport and want my clients to feel a breath of fresh air each time they log on for their next session. I use individual talk therapy, play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, somatic therapy, mindfulness, and play therapy.
