Hi, I'm Alexa. I pride myself on being well-rounded in my practice, having had experience treating a wide variety of clients and issues. I've worked in mental health since 2011 and obtained my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018 from UNLV. My approach to therapy is strongly person-centered, using narrative techniques. My philosophy is to make warmth, comfort and relatability a priority throughout the counseling experience, while also incorporating evidence-based strategies to provide you with the quality relief you are seeking.
My specialties include grief, trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, coping with significant life transitions, navigating chronic illness and/or caregiving, managing the challenges of pregnancy/postpartum/parenting, and setting boundaries within interpersonal relationships.
