Are you feeling overwhelmed and stuck? Ready to make a change, but not sure where to begin? Help is available! I am a mental health and substance use counselor based in Port Orchard and providing virtual/telehealth services throughout Washington. I work primarily with folks ages 13+. I am comfortable working with a variety of people and problems, but am especially experienced with treating addiction (including nicotine), trauma/PTSD, depression, OCD, other anxiety disorders, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. I do write WPATH letters of support for gender-affirming care, and have signed a pledge to complete these in just one session.
I strive to practice from a trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive, social justice-focused lens, with an emphasis on helping you recognize and empower yourself against the systemic and societal factors that can affect your wellbeing. I use an integrated approach to therapy, meaning I use a variety of approaches based on your individual needs.
