Are you looking to find a positive sense of self or learn healthier ways to problem solve your day-to-day life? I provide mentoring, support, and skills to people who are struggling with identity, coping skills, behavioral struggles, and trauma. I aspire to empower individual struggles, build on individual strengths, and observe the growth made through the therapy process. I believe every client is different, unique, and have their own way to show motivation for change in treatment. I have a passion for encouragement, support to identify internal strengths, build self-confidence, and identify individual morals and values.
For the past eleven years, I've provide mental health and substance abuse therapy utilizing a person-centered approach with the use of a strength-based model to build self-esteem and encouragement at the start of the therapy process. I utilize a realistic approach with a combination of cognitive behavioral, behavioral, and solution-focused techniques.
I have a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Centenary University. I bring energy, optimism, positivity and challenge, when appropriate, into therapy sessions. I focus on the client's needs in achieving his/her goals while the client continues growth in their own pace. My Agency has other Clinicians available and Medication Management.
