The heart of my work as a therapist is creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly seen and heard. When your experiences are met with empathy and acceptance, your nervous system can begin to relax—often bringing a sense of relief right away. From there, it becomes possible to gently explore patterns in your thoughts and behaviors—patterns that once protected or served you but now may be keeping you from living the life you want. Together, we’ll approach these patterns with compassion and curiosity, opening the door to lasting change.
I work with adults and teens navigating depression, anxiety, perfectionism, life transitions, relationship challenges, the effects of trauma, and other concerns. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions, and I invite you to schedule a consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked for 15 years in Washington, DC as an advocate for better laws and public policies. I grew up in a multilingual family and speak conversational Spanish. My heritage and values inspire my commitment to create an inclusive therapy space for people of all races, cultures, gender identities, and sexual orientations.
