My ideal clients are teens or adults wanting to heal from trauma (past or present). I see clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance use disorder, health issues, OCD, neurodivergence, and difficulty adjusting to life changes. My ideal clients want to reach true healing by digging into their trauma and learning new, adaptive strategies to succeed in life. I tend to work with high-acheiving clients that are successful in their lives but may struggle with their pasts holding them back.
I am a certifed EMDR therapist. I also enjoy using parts work or IFS because I have found this complements EMDR well, especially with complex trauma. I am a certified yoga instructor, so I also incorporate a lot of mindfulness practices, as well as somatic work. DBT and CBT are also significantly helpful.
I have been where you are. I have received years of therapy personally and have truly seen the impact that therapy has on mental health. I believe to my core that treatment is effective and helpful, not only to treat mental health symptoms but to learn what a healthy and grounded relationship looks like.
