About
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, experiencing a life change, or struggling with depression or anxiety? Is your child struggling with difficult behaviors or do you simply want to improve your relationship with your child? Do you seek more inner peace, balance, or fulfillment in your life? I have clinical experience in the outpatient setting working with children, adolescents, adults, and families with anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, stress management issues, trauma, grief/loss, chronic pain/illness, substance use, parenting skills, relationship issues, self-esteem and adjusting to life transitions.
I tailor treatment based on the needs and preferences of the client while utilizing evidenced-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, Play Therapy, PCIT, and mindfulness-based strategies. My approach is client-centered, strengths-based and grounded in attachment theory. I practice from a trauma informed lens, antiracist perspective and am LGBTQIA+ affirming.
I believe that a safe, non-judgmental environment in which individuals can experience truly feeling seen, heard, and understood can bring forth the human potential for healing, change, and growth. As your therapist it is my goal to create this environment for you so that we can work together achieve your goals for therapy.
