I have a varied set of personal and professional experience that has helped prepare me to become a therapist. Some of my experience includes being a husband and father, serving in my church community, working in corporate America, and serving in the Army Reserves. I have developed a strong passion for helping people repair and strengthen relationships. I am committed to helping my client’s find their strengths within and utilizing them in therapy. I am committed to helping people learn new skills to help them to better understand their emotions and how their brain works.
I have a BS in Psychology from UVU and masters in Social Work from the U of U. I use a strength based, client centered approach, as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), the Gottman Method and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). I specialize in working with pornography and couples.
