Humans are meaning-making creatures, and I understand psychotherapy as an opportunity to turn distress and suffering into self-knowledge that allows us to live rich, dynamic lives. When symptoms limit our capacity to thrive and enjoy life, attention must be brought to the layers of experience that have shaped our minds and our identities. My areas of clinical interest include: personality disorders, depression & mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, relationship & intimacy issues, creative/artistic blocks and issues specific to athletes and athletic performance, and individual & family transitions.
