I work with men and young adults who are tired of feeling like they have to have it all figured out. Anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, divorce, a life transition you didn't see coming, or just that stuck feeling of not knowing what to do next. If that sounds like you, you're in the right place. We'll sort through what's going on, figure out what's keeping you stuck, and build something that works for your life. In-person and tele health appointments available in Phoenix, virtual sessions available throughout AZ.

I have a particular interest in working with men and young men. A lot of my clients haven't had much practice putting feelings into words, or they walk in assuming therapy means getting told what's wrong with them. It's not that. You don't need the right words or have it all figured out before you start. Come as you are. I'll meet you there.

I draw mainly from CBT and EMDR for trauma and anxiety, bringing in mindfulness or DBT skills when they help. We'll look at the thought patterns keeping you stuck and work through what's affecting you now, without needing to relive every detail out loud. Let’s talk when you’re ready.

I use CBT to work through unhelpful thinking patterns and DBT to build skills for managing emotions and distress. For trauma, I lean on EMDR to help you process what's happened without needing to talk through every detail. CBT and DBT sessions tend to be more conversational, while EMDR sessions are more experiential and require less talking.
