I help couples to change their relationship patterns so that they can feel heard, understood and loved by their partner once again. Couples usually come to me feeling intensely frustrated and stuck in reoccurring issues that, despite their best efforts, they are unable to work out. I help couples get to the heart of what is so difficult and then communicate in new ways that allow connection where there was previously only hurt, anger or distance.
I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, which is an evidenced based modality with excellent outcomes. The approach works to restore and strengthen the relationship bonds by supporting new communication patterns that bring about caring and loving connection. When couples feel connected and supported, they can face any issue together.
I work in a very direct and focussed way to get to the heart of what creates real change for the couple. I am responsive and empathetic with my clients while guiding them in new ways of relating to each other.
