As a member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, I understand that facing something overwhelming, such as a life transition, navigating relationships, anxiety/depression, or exploring your identity, can feel incredibly isolating. I strive to create an environment that feels safe and affirming, where you don't have to face it all alone. My purpose is working with queer and BIPOC clients across the lifespan and I am committed to creating a space where often-overlooked voices are heard and validated. I approach clients with an intersectional, holistic lens, considering both the individual and the larger systems in which they operate.
My trauma-informed approach draws primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while also integrating somatic and narrative therapy techniques. I believe that healing happens in relationships, where we can be witnessed as our authentic selves without judgment.
I find the most meaningful work happens with clients who are willing to engage in the messy, often uncomfortable process of self-exploration.
