Due to the current situation with COVID-19, I am offering online sessions via Zoom, FaceTime and by phone, if you prefer. I'm an experienced therapist who is comfortable working with many different treatment modalities and I'll work with you to find out which approach is right for your needs. This is a very challenging time for all of us, and many people are seeking out therapy for the first time, or returning to therapy for emotional support and understanding. I'm a therapist who has worked in wide variety of settings, so I have experience working with many different clients--people that reflect New York's diverse population. I enjoy working with single adults, parents, couples, working people with careers, students, and people of all ages/backgrounds and orientations.
I have extensive experience in treating substance abuse both in terms of abstinence from drugs/alcohol and in harm-reduction/moderation techniques, when appropriate. I also practice yoga/meditation have seen the benefits of mindfulness and awareness in my own life, which I employ in my psychotherapy practice.
