I'm deeply committed to helping you heal, grow, and engage in the relationships you crave to thrive within! I help teens, adults and couples find hope and gain greater joy. Being in relationship can sometimes feel like it's hard work - because it is! But it doesn't have to be a constant struggle. Upon the beginning of our work in therapy, many of my clients express that their relationships feel exhausting. Maybe you feel the same. Or maybe you feel like you aren't being heard or understood. Maybe you are working so hard every day because something from your past is still weighing on you.
I believe in the Collaborative Problem Solving approach, stating that people “do well if they can.” If they aren’t able to, this points to “lagging skills” that can be identified and practiced. We're all human, and we're all still learning. Therapy creates a judgment-free space where you can heal, grow, and even rest. I'd like to support you in this pursuit!
Over the past 10 years, I've worked with couples and individuals on identifying experiences from their past they want to leave behind, ways in which they want to enrich their present, and dreams they want to build for the future.
