Like many, I have my own story—one shaped by my family of origin, health challenges, and a range of life experiences that have influenced how I understand people, pain, and the power of healing. These experiences have not only shaped my worldview but have also become valuable tools in my therapeutic work. I’ve found healing and growth through meaningful relationships, and I’ve witnessed firsthand the incredible resilience of families who, despite seemingly insurmountable challenges, find ways to reconnect, rebuild, and thrive. It is the resilience of my own family that continues to inspire me and fuel my commitment to this work.
I am interested in helping families with adolescents re-connect through significant changes (health challenges in the family, supporting a family member with an eating disorder, etc). I approach each session with curiosity, compassion, and a non-judgmental stance, using a holistic framework that honors the connection between mind, body, and soul.
My job is to not only validate and support clients, but to also help them grow and transform. In order to help clients be the best versions of themselves and have the most satisfying relationships, I will sometimes challenge them, ask them hard questions, and point out when they are not living in alignment with their values and goals.
