As a therapist with a decade of experience, I see it as my place to help you discover what powerful but often invisible barriers are holding you back. Together, we can knock them down and build a life grounded in your values. Within this partnership between us, my role will shift at times. Sometimes I take an active role, offering you ways to break through those walls. Other times, I’m there to honor and witness your growth as the process unfolds. Throughout it all, I take the work seriously, but not myself too seriously, and I aim to bring warmth, honesty, and a bit of humor into the process of meaningful change.
I have developed a specialization in supporting individuals dealing with a multitude of different traumatic experiences and PTSD. I also have a passion for helping people with OCD, depression, and anxiety. In therapy, I practice Feedback Informed Treatment to monitor progress every session to ensure that what we are doing is moving you toward your goals.
I am also a strong believer in the Intensive format for EMDR therapy. In this, clients engage in longer sessions of EMDR across one or several days, rather than prolonging treatment across weekly therapy over several months. In this, people can find relief from trauma-based symptoms faster and can save overall costs in therapy.

I work with client who are finding that past trauma is having a lasting impact on them, including by interfering with relationships, keeping them from engaging in joyful and meaningful activities, and preventing them from feeling calm and settled in their bodies. My goal is to help people reduce the distress they feel and reengage them with what matters in life.

For treating trauma, I most often use EMDR. When appropriate for a client, I prefer doing Intensive EMDR, which involves condensing the work that is done over weeks or months into one or several longer days of treatment. This way, people get back on their feet sooner. This also helps people who can't find the time weekly for therapy, but can carve our several days for a retreat-style therapy.
