The effectiveness of counseling boils down to the relationship between the client and counselor, which to me, is the most important aspect of the entire process. I strive to provide a comfortable, open, and safe environment which hopefully leads to a feeling of security where we can be honest and transparent. Finding meaning and purpose in life at times is difficult, my hope and vision is to foster a relationship where it becomes somewhat natural to discuss the obstacles in the way of attainting your true meaning in life. I enjoy working with individuals and couples who strive to become the best version of themselves.
I work with individuals and couples who face grief & loss, depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, & more. My primary focus/treatment is directed toward meaning/purpose in life. What gets you out of bed in the morning? What inspires you? What is it that motivates you to do the things you do each and every day?
Although therapy can seem scary and unknown to some, I believe we as human beings are all going through this weird thing we call "life" together. My hope is to create a transparent and nonjudgemental space where it is OKAY to talk about it!
