Many of my clients come to therapy having edited themselves before — leaving out the kink, the poly, the queer parts, the parts they weren't sure would be welcome. They're LGBTQ+ adults exploring identity, navigating relationships (romantic, sexual, chosen family), working through shame or internalized stigma, or processing trauma that still shows up in how they love. Some are newly curious about kink, pup play, or non-monogamy. Others have been in the community for years and want deeper work. What they share is a need for a therapist who won't flinch, won't pathologize, and won't need to be educated along the way.

I specialize in LGBTQ+ and kink-affirming therapy. My approach blends EMDR for trauma, psychodynamic work for relational patterns, and positive psychology for building skills of joy and compassion. I draw on Buddhist mindfulness and Western evidence-based therapy. Your identity isn't pathologized here — it's part of the work, not the problem.
