Welcome! I'm Alex (she/they). I am most passionate about working with women and non-binary, queer, or trans adults that are seeking support with issues like ADHD, grief, sexuality, & spirituality. I may be a good fit for those with lived experience as a fat or plus-sized person. I enjoy working with the "caretakers" of the world that may be experiencing burnout or compassion fatigue. I believe that therapy is political and will acknowledge the systems of oppression within our work together. In our highly individualistic society, I believe that therapy is an act of resistance through connection and allowing yourself to be witnessed.
My goal is to provide you with a safe container to receive and embody empathy, self-compassion, radical acceptance, and curiosity. My approach to therapy is primarily relational with an intersectional feminist lens. I often incorporate EFT and somatic work in sessions. I am Health At Every Size, Harm Reduction, and Anti-Oppressive Practice oriented.
