So often, therapy is seen as a tool used to cure someone; like healing a broken leg with physical therapy. In truth, my role is to support you, and help you understand and feel comfortable as your whole self. We work together to create a safe space where healing is possible. Life is challenging, and so often the strategies we use to handle those challenges can backfire, leading us feeling stranded and confused about our next steps. This is when you reach out to me. Together, we will work towards making you feel comfortable in your own identity.
I am trained in person-centered counseling, and I am interested in feminist and depth counseling as well. I strongly believe in a mix of evidence-based practices and more exploratory techniques in my practice.
I have experience working with adolescents and adult clients with a variety of concerns. I offer both telehealth and in-person sessions with a flexible schedule.
