As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I strive to support people in their journey of bettering their mental health and well-being. I work with clients on a wide variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, and life transitions.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Honors and a Master of Education with a Specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ohio University. My practicum and internship experience in community mental health provided an extensive background in outpatient mental health individual and group sessions, crisis intervention, and much more.
My therapeutic approach centers around Person Centered Therapy (PCT) while integrating skills and interventions from various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), depending on the client’s situation, goals, and background.
My counseling approach is founded on the belief that every client can create change in their mental health and in their lives. My goal as a counselor is to support every client in their mental health journey to the best of my ability through acceptance, genuineness, and empathy.
