I offer therapy in WA and ID, and feel honored to support anyone interested in more deeply understanding themselves, their relationships, and their stuck points. I have a passion for helping individuals explore where they feel overwhelmed, pained or confused to heal both individually and relationally. I specialize in recovery in the domains of trauma, abuse/neglect, shame, self-esteem, burnout, codependency, and childhood wounding. I also particularly enjoy supporting those who identify as highly sensitive (HSP), anxious, self-critical, perfectionistic, pleasing, and over-thinking find more joy in their bodies and in their lives.
Talk therapy is not sufficient in working with trauma because it doesn't go deep enough into the survival brain. One can know they are no longer in danger and yet not feel safe. To support true recovery, I have undergone advanced training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Lifespan Integration (LI) and Polyvagal Theory.
Reaching out for support can be daunting. Most of us so deeply want to be seen, and yet at the same time, are equally afraid of this.
