| Polski My ideal ideal client falls within the high school to college age rang, and beyond, and is experiencing difficulties related to adapting to a new environment and overcoming transitions. My clients are usually faced with issues such as anxiety, high levels of stress, difficulties with maintaining routines, and even struggles in communication. What clients are usually looking from me is a supportive and understanding space to explore their thoughts and feelings, as well as guidance in making life decisions. These clients may also require effective stress management techniques, coping strategies, and a safe environment .
I hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and am currently pursuing my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. I offer a varied approach to counseling through the lens of the mental wellness model rather than mental illness. My work is grounded in educating my patients on how to best help themselves and not rely on therapy in their future endeavors.
My patients benefit from my unique cross cultural experience as well as my ability to lead therapy in Polish and English. I can bring empathy, understanding, and insight to the table, having personally faced the challenges of major adjustments. I can help clients find their own path to growth, healing, and fulfillment, and support them every step of the way.
