I provide Individual and Couples Therapy to adults. Many of my individual clients present with mood and anxiety disorders, co-occurring addiction, OCD, adult ADHD, eating disorders, grief/bereavement, peripartum/postpartum issues, and residual effects of earlier trauma. Many are also navigating challenges and chronic disappointment of modern dating which can become emotionally debilitating. In my work with Couples, many seek to gain mutual clarity and understanding, bridge fundamental differences, face difficult decisions and transitions, and achieve more balance and equity inside their relationships.
My therapeutic framework is comprehensive, eclectic, and tailored to the specific needs and nuances presented by each Individual/Couple. I thoroughly assess and meet clients where they are at the start, then help clients gain insight, identify counterintuitive thought and behavioral patterns, and develop coping skills to manage symptoms and stressors.
I find that a strong therapeutic alliance that forms between therapist and client is instrumental in fostering trust, hope, and improvement.
