I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience providing counseling and therapy. Starting therapy can be scary and intimidating, but it can also be very liberating! Life is full of stressful situations and can be tough at times. I believe strongly that these stressors do not dictate the quality of our lives; I believe it is the way we deal with them, manage them, and respond to them that dictates the quality of our lives. Over the years, I have been trained in various therapy models and theories, including Multidimensional Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, Strength-Based Principles, and Person-Centered Principles, along with various substance use modalities.

What I have learned is that the most important thing is the connection that I make with you, not the model or theory that I use. Therefore, I take a person-centered approach to helping you, by listening to you with genuine curiosity, learning about who you are without any judgment, helping you figure out what you want out of life without pressure.
