Hi! My name is Alejandra Sanchez. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in North Hollywood, CA who currently works with clients via telehealth. I work with age groups ranging from 18-60 years of age and have the most experience assisting clients in managing anxiety, depression, trauma and family conflict. I use a person-centered and trauma-informed approach to treatment. I focus on what client's primary concerns are and adapt interventions according to client's needs with respect to my areas of expertise.
The core of my therapeutic orientation, while eclectic and humanistic in style, I often use solution-focused, psychodynamic and positive psychology modalities. Areas that I typically support clients with include social-justice issues, LGBTQAI+/identity concerns, depression, anxiety, communication, and acculturation difficulties.
I consider myself an easy-going clinician that has a "come as you are" mentality. In creating a safe space, I strive to show up authentically in sessions so that client's can feel comfortable in doing the same. I am curious, engaging and collaborative, inviting client's to the opportunity to find healing, solutions and themselves.
